Who doesn’t love a delicious, cheesy, melty jalapeño popper? This is a fun twist to a popper that is a great appetizer for gatherings! You could even cut them in half if you want something smaller for finger food.
INGREDIENTS
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 2 large jalapenos, seeded and diced
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
- pinch of black pepper
- 9 slices cheddar cheese
DIRECTIONS
Combine the cream cheese, jalapeno, bacon and a pinch of black pepper. Set aside.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Place the cheese slices on the baking sheet, spaced out evenly.
Bake 5-7 minutes or until the outside edges are browned and crisp.
Remove from the oven, allow to cool for a few minutes.
Place 1-2 tablespoons of the mixture on one side of the cheese slice and tightly roll, seam side down.
